Summer Bishil (born June 15 in 1985) is an American actress who is best known for playing Margo in The Magicians, a Syfy drama series based on a fantasy that ran from 2015 until current. The Alan Ball movie Towelhead, she played 13-year-old Lebanese American young girl Jasira that experiences a rollercoaster of emotions in the context of the U.S. intervention in Iraq during the Gulf War. The film was selected by Variety as one of the 10 actors they wanted to see. The 2009 movie Crossing Over, in which she portrayed the powerful character Taslima Jhangir, was nominated by the Independent Spirit Award as the leading female in the film. Apart from Lucky 7, she has also starred in Mooz Lum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake and starred in a number of TV guest characters. Jackie Guerrido, after listening to her voice-over on the WSKQ morning show in the early hours was offered her first job that was paid. In Miami, not long after receiving her first offer, Guerrido received another job by WRMA. Here she stayed to air news and traffic over several years. In the following years, she joined WRTO Radio to host a music program. She was then offered the position of traffic director at WSCV TV which is where she also worked on television. In the end, she got an invitation by Univision to be meteorologist for the channel 23's Morning News.
